Fastfrate

Fastfrate Integrated Logistics, part of Fastfrate Group, opened its new U.S. office on Monday, January 24, 2022. Fastfrate’s sales and operations division will work out of the Chicago office while maintaining ties with Fastfrate’s home base of Woodbridge, Ontario. Services offered from the Chicago office include, TL and LTL, Intermodal, Air, Expedite, Hot-Shot, Drayage and Warehousing and Distribution.

Tecsys & American Woodmark

Winchester Virginia-based kitchen and bath cabinet manufacturer and distributor American Woodmark Corporation is using Tecsys‘s warehouse management software, Elite WMS. The Tecsys solution will be deployed across all American Woodmark distribution facilities, to improve intra-network logistics and streamlining warehouse and delivery management.

TFI International & D&D Sexton

TFI International Inc. has acquired D&D Sexton. Based in Carthage, Missouri, D&D has been a family-owned business for more than 40 years, specializing in refrigerated transportation with both long-haul over-the-road services as well as local and shuttle operations. D&D has more than 150 company drivers and owner operators, and close to 40 non-driving employees. Operating more than 120 tractors and nearly 400 refrigerated and dry van trailers, D&D generates annualized revenues in excess of US$25 million. The acquired business will operate within TFI International’s CFI group of companies.

Cimcorp

Cimcorp has joined MHI‘s Automated Storage and Retrieval System (AS/RS) Industry Group, a collective of AS/RS suppliers that focuses on growing and supporting the AS/RS market. The group meets regularly to share and evaluate standards for the design, performance and proper operation of AS/RS solutions.

Sealed Air & Foxpak Flexibles

Sealed Air has acquired Foxpak Flexibles Ltd. (Foxpak) under SEE Ventures, its initiative for investing in disruptive technologies and business models to accelerate growth. Foxpak is a privately owned Irish packaging solutions company that pioneered the development of digital printing on flexible packaging. Established in 2001, Foxpak is located in Collon, Ireland, and employs 33 people, serving brands in more than 30 countries.
