Lynden International expands Canadian operations

EDMONTON, Alberta—In a move designed to capitalize on the growing energy sector in western Canada, Lynden International has added a new location in Edmonton, Alberta.

The Seattle, Washington-based freight forwarding and logistics company opened its latest service centre, which is located at the Edmonton International Airport, on January 1, 2013. Along with an office in Calgary, the company also has Canadian operations in Ontario (Fort Erie and Toronto) and in Vancouver, British Columbia.

“We are expanding our long-established truck transportation offerings to include import and export services, freight forwarding, customs brokerage and logistics and warehousing to support oil patch customers who are taking advantage of the booming oil sands development,” says Rob Clarke, Lynden International’s Canadian business development director.
