Toronto Transportation Club appoints secretary treasurer

TORONTO: Denise Cardy has been appointed the new secretary treasurer of the Toronto Transportation Club.

Cardy, who takes over the position February 1, replaces Andree Baillargeon in the role. Baillargeon served as the club’s secretary treasurer for over nine years.

“We are thankful for Andree’s time spent with the board over the years, and wish her well in future endeavours,” said club president Gary Crowther. “We are also very excited to have Denise stepping in. Her passion and industry knowledge is a true fit for the TTC members and its board.”

The secretary treasurer is appointed by the board of directors and is responsible for the club’s day-to-day management.

The club is a non-profit organization with participants from industries that include trucking, railway, steamship, airline, third-party logistics, freight forwarders, customs brokers and couriers.
