Sharon Duggan has been appointed to the board of Marine Atlantic. She will serve a three-year term with the organization responsible for providing passenger and commercial marine transportation services between Newfoundland and Labrador and Nova Scotia.
Peter Bernard has been appointed to the Pacific Pilotage Authority, the crown corporation responsible for providing marine pilotage services in British Columbia’s coastal waters. His term is three years.
The International Air Transport Association (IATA) has named Warren Jones as head of cargo network services. The former aviation development manager at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, will be responsible for raising industry competitiveness, enhancing the safety and security of air cargo operations, and speeding the adoption of e-commerce and the Cargo 2000 framework for the Montreal, Quebec-based agency. His appointment will take effect on April 24.
Portland, Oregon-based eyewear and glasses distributor Society43 has hired Sharon Oliverio as supply chain director. In her role at the company, she will be responsible for streamlining Society43’s supply chain and optimizing the inventory management.
Saddle Creek Logistics Service has named Steven Edelstein as director of business development, order fulfillment. Edelstein will be responsible for expanding the Lakeland Florida’s fulfillment business by developing new customer relationships and growing existing accounts.
