FedEx Corporation
FedEx Corp. announced that Gina F. Adams has been named executive vice-president, general counsel and secretary, effective Sept. 24. She succeeds Mark R. Allen who will move into a senior advisor role until his retirement Dec. 31. Adams will oversee all legal, security and government affairs activities around the world for FedEx Corporation and its subsidiaries.
Medline Canada Corporation
Medical products maker Medline Canada Corp. has appointed Scott MacNair as vice-president of healthcare solutions.
MacNair joins Medline after serving as the executive vice-president of business operations at British Columbia’s Provincial Health Services Authority (PHSA). He joined PHSA at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, where he, along with health system partners, set up a supply chain that sustained the flow of personal protective equipment (PPE) and medical supplies to British Columbia’s health care workers.
More recently, MacNair worked to modernize the provincial health care supply chain further by redefining the governance model with regional health authorities. Prior to his time at PHSA, he was the president of Stryker Canada, a provider of health care technologies.
Port of Baltimore
The Port of Baltimore welcomed a new deputy executive director of commercial development to its team.
Matt Wypyski, a 33-year maritime industry veteran with senior executive roles at other U.S. ports and international ocean carriers, will oversee business and strategic initiatives at the Maryland Port Administration.
