Transportation and supply chain firm Vitran Corporation Inc has promoted its corporate controller Fayaz Suleman to vice-president of finance and chief financial officer. He will succeed Sean Washchuk. Fayaz graduated from Wilfrid Laurier University with an Honours Degree in Business Administration, and gained his public accounting experience and CA designation at KPMG LLP.
Intelligrated has appointed Bruce Sudler as senior sales engineer for the company’s Chicago-based Midwest regional operation. Sudler will provide sales, concepting, estimating, engineering and client relations services for customers in the region. Sudler holds a BS in communications from the University of Cincinnati.
Craig Grossgart has joined CEVA Logistics as vice-president of ocean freight for the Americas, where he will be responsible for leading ocean operations. Grossgart joins CEVA from his role as vice-president of emerging markets at DHL Global Customer Solutions. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of California at Davis.
FORTE has made the following new hires: Sean Johnson is now software developer; Nick Wieland is controls and implementation specialist; Lisa Skaggs has been hired as business development and sales support representative; Chad Grubb in now implementation and support specialist. Johnson is responsible for extending and maintaining FORTE’s current software products, as well as developing new software using the latest development techniques and tools. Wieland is responsible for electrical controls and PLC software development. Skaggs will assist the business development team in its efforts to identify qualified business opportunities, as well as support the development of strategic accounts. Grubb is responsible for implementing and supporting FORTE’s software suite of products and developing new customer specific features.
Graybar, a distributor of electrical, communications and data networking products and provider of related supply chain management and logistics services, has appointed Steven Horst as vice-president, service and administration. Horst is a 16-year Graybar veteran who most recently served as national market manager for construction.
