Martin Boyd has joined Cascade Corporation as global product manager. Cascade Corporation designs and manufactures lift truck attachments and forks. along with product management, he will play an instrumental role in the marketing activities associated with the promotion of Cascade’s products. Most recently, Boyd was with Toyota Material Handling USA Inc, where he was vice-president of marketing for 14 years.

Thomas Pawlowicz has been promoted to senior account executive at the automated material handling experts at Integrated Systems Design (ISD). Prior to joining ISD, Pawlowicz was vice-president project management at Jervis B Webb Company.
Effective January 1, the Intermodal Association of North America (IANA) welcomed four new members to its board of directors. Katie Farmer, group vice-president, consumer products of BNSF Railway, was elected as the Association’s vice-chairman and joins IANA chairman Phil Shook, director of intermodal at C.H. Robinson, and IANA treasurer Don Aiken, vice president of intermodal operations at Schneider National Inc, who were both re-elected to their positions. Farmer has over 20 years of experience in the railroad industry and is responsible for the commercial activities of BNSF’s intermodal and automotive business. Each of IANA’s four new board members will serve a three-year term. Joining the 2014 Board of Directors are: Adriene Bailey, vice-president of strategic business development for the transportation division at Yusen Logistics (Americas) Inc, filling an at-large seat; Kate Betsworth, vice-president of intermodal operations at Union Pacific Railroad Company, also filling an at-large seat; Robert “Bob” Curry Jr, president and chief executive officer of California Multimodal LLC, filling a motor carrier division opening; and, Keith Lovetro, president and chief executive officer of TRAC Intermodal, filling a supplier division seat.
