Following the retirement of David Rebholz on May 31, 2013, Henry Maier will take over the duties of president and CEO at Memphis, Tennessee-based FedEx Corp. Currently Maier is serving as executive vice-president of FedEx Ground. He will be responsible for the leadership and strategic development of the FedEx Ground division.
Supply chain solutions provider ModusLink Global Solutions Inc has a new president and CEO. John Boucher will assume both roles at the Waltham, Massachusetts-based company.
Quick Cable Corp, a Franksville, Wisconsin-based manufacturer of battery accessories, has appointed Dave Henrichs as vice-president of sales and marketing, following the retirement of Ken Bons.
Brett Cornell is now the senior vice-president of strategic sourcing at CombineNet Inc. He will be responsible for helping to develop and influence company direction, category strategies, and customer solutions at the Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania-based sourcing software solutions company.
Cash flow solutions company, Bibby Financial Services has hired Tony Brown as head of trade finance for the Americas. He will be responsible for driving purchase order financing and export financing offerings and launching new finance services targeting American and Canadian small- and medium-sized importers and exporters at the Atlanta, Georgia-based company.
Elemica, an Exton, Pennsylvania-based company that provides customer, supplier, sourcing and logistics management solutions, has a new vice-president and head of global professional services. Sanjiv Bhatia‘s duties will include implementing and growing the company’s cloud-based solutions. Before joining Elemica, Bhatia was managing director at supply chain implementer BearingPoint.
Roberta Gorzek is the new marketing manager at Steele Solutions Inc, a Milwaukee, Wisconsin-based mezzanine and equipment platform manufacturer. She will provide campaign support to the company’s sales team and its dealers.
