A month after joining the board of directors of Axios Mobile Assets Corp, James Taylor has been named board chair. In another change to the board, David Wickwire, executive vice-president and CFO of Ongweoweh Corp was added as a new member and will serve on the audit committee of the Vaughan, Ontario-based pallet management company.
Transfreight LLC has a new chair and CEO. Martin Miller takes on the role after working as the chief operations officer at the Erlanger, Kentucky-based 3PL.
Kim Stebbins is the new vice-president of sales at Next Level. The Reno, Nevada-based company, which manufactures shelving and racking for warehouses, launched operations in June.
Piet Zoutendijk has been appointed managing director of Europe for Reading, Pennsylvania-based Penske Logistics, succeeding Brian Ruprich who had been working in the position on an interim basis since February 2011. Before joining Penske, Zoutendijk was senior vice-president of the logistics client centre at DB Schenker. Ruprich will return to the US and take on a new role with Penske.
The parent company of SSA Marine Inc and Tideworks Technology, Carrix Inc, has as a new CEO and chief strategic officer. Knud Stubkjær joined the Seattle, Washington-based container terminal operator and cargo handling company after serving as a senior executive with AP Moller-Maersk and working as CEO of container management company ER Schiffahrt.
