CP Rail has a new chair of the board. Paul Haggis, who currently serves as chair of both Alberta Enterprise Corp and CA Bancorp Inc, was elected to the position at the Calgary-based railway.

Trailer Wizards has made two new appointments. Arthur Christakos has joined the semi-truck trailer rental and sales company as Ontario region vice-president. Sherry Mossman started with the Mississauga-based company earlier this year after working at Accord Transportation, and now has been named as Edmonton branch manager.

RMT Robotics‘s ADAM Systems Group has a new director. Bill Torrens was named to the role at the Grimsby, Ontario-based company and will have the responsibility of increasing global sales of the ADAM autonomous mobile robot (AMR).

Vaughan, Ontario-based Axios Mobile Assets Corp has added a new member to its board of directors. The appointment of James Taylor, CEO and vice-chair of AMP Electric Vehicles, is effective immediately.

Tim Cook is the new vice-president of North American sales for thermal printer and RFID company SATO America Inc in Charlotte, North Carolina. With experience gained at Honeywell Scanning and Mobility and Zebra Technologies, he will be responsible for driving revenue and sales development processes and ensuring customer satisfaction at SATO.

Vienna, Virginia-based Cubic Global Tracking Solutions has hired Michael Bigbee as the company’s new vice-president of business development. His role will be to increase product awareness internationally and grow the US domestic business.
