Who’s hired, who’s moving around in the supply chain sector

Claude Melançon is a new incoming director of the Montreal Port Authority. Melançon is set to replace Diane Provost, who has served on the board since 2003. His term will begin on March 24 and last until March 23, 2015.

Jennifer Clarke of Vancouver, British Columbia, is the latest member appointed to the board of directors of the Prince Rupert Port Authority. She will serve on the board for three years.

Mark Wright of Thunder Bay, Ontario has been appointed to a three-year term as a member of the board of directors of the Thunder Bay Port Authority.

Éric Dupont of Ste-Pétronille, Quebec joins the board of directors of the Quebec Port Authority. He will serve for three years.

A number of appointments have been made to the Transportation Appeal Tribunal of Canada (TATC). Abdo Shabah of Montreal, Quebec and George Pugh of Vancouver, British Columbia will serve for five years. Mark Gauthier of Gatineau, Quebec and Arnold Olson of Langley, British Columbia will serve for four.

The Material Handling Equipment Distributors Association (MHEDA) has selected new board members. Al Boston (CEO of AK Material Handling Systems), Doug Carson (vice-president marketing/sales Fallsway Equipment Co) and Buddy Smith (CEO of Carolina Material Handling Services Inc) will serve on the board of directors. Tim Tyler, CEO of Borroughs Corp, will serve on the manufacturers board of advisors.
