Who’s on the move this week [March 26, 2013]

Oliver Silver

Ryder Canada is losing a long-serving employee. Oliver Silver is retiring from the Mississauga, Ontario-based company. Oliver began his career with the company in England in 1972. After moving to Canada he held a variety of positions with Ryder, including transport consultant, national sales, asset management, marketing, customer retention and acquisition. His final day will be March 31.

Dervin Taylor

AmeraMex International Inc, a Chico, California business that supplies specialized container handling equipment to stevedoring companies has added Michael Maloney to its board of directors.

Storage product and materials handling equipment supplier SPG International LLC has hired Dervin Taylor. He will serve as the Atlanta, Georgia-based firm’s corporate controller.

Greg Clark

MacGregor (Greg) Clarke has been hired as the new senior vice-president and chief financial officer for building insulation and roofing manufacturer Johns Manville. Clarke will be responsible for the Denver Colorado-based company’s global finance and supply chain organizations.

Unit load and packaging systems manufacturer, Millwood Inc, and its subsidiary Liberty Technologies, have recently made three new hires. Stuart Dodd is the new manager of business development for Liberty and will work in the company’s Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania office. John Monson will also hold the title of manager of business development but will work from the Atlanta office. Greg Smith will be Vienna, Ohio-based Millwood’s regional sales manager for the Red River region.
