Who’s on the move this week: May 11, 2015

VersaCold Logistics Services appointed Jim MacIntosh to its executive team as Senior Vice President and General Manager VersaCold Warehousing Solutions. MacIntosh joins VersaCold from Purolator where he held increasingly responsible roles including General Manager, Field Operations and Sales and most recently, Vice President National Operations. He holds a Diploma in Human Resources from Seneca College and has completed the Wharton Advanced Management Program as well as other Executive Programs at Schulich and Queens University.

VersaCold Logistics Services also appointed Sandro Caccaro to the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager VersaCold Transportation Solutions. Caccaro joins VersaCold from Bruce R. Smith where he held the role of President and COO. Previously he was Senior Vice President, National Operations, Canada Cartage and Vice President & General Manager Canada for Schneider National Carriers. He holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree from Trent University and has been a long serving member of the Board of Directors of the Ontario Trucking Association.
Celadon Group, Inc announced several promotions within to its senior management team. The changes are effective immediately. Danny Williams has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer for Celadon’s Quality Companies division. He previously served as Vice President of the Quality Companies. Williams will report to Eric Meek, Celadon’s Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer.
The company also announced the creation of four new Division President positions in the Celadon Trucking organization, also reporting to Meek. George Chasteen will assume the role of President of International Business. This division includes all operations associated with Jaguar, Celadon’s Mexican subsidiary and Hyndman, Celadon’s Canadian subsidiary. Most recently, Chasteen was Vice President of Mexico.
Chad Hoffman has been promoted to Celadon’s President of Specialized Business. This area will include Temperature Controlled, Intermodal (TOFC and COFC), and Taylor Express – Celadon’s bulk transfer business. Hoffman most recently was Vice President of Operations.
Lauren Howard is the new President of Truckload Operations for Celadon. This division encompasses all domestic US operations that are primarily focused on Dry Van Freight. This area includes Local and Dedicated as well as Expedited operations, terminal operations and customer service. Most recently, Howard was Vice President of Customer Service.
Nathan Roberts has been appointed President of Eagle Logistics Services. This group is focused on operating asset light business primarily through the use of owner operators owning both their truck and trailer. This department includes Eagle Logistics Services, Flatbed Operations, Quality Drivers, and Celadon Recruiting. Previously, Roberts was Vice President of Specialized Services.
