Amadou Diallo has been appointed CEO of DHL Freight. In his new role, Diallo will be responsible for DHL’s international road and rail freight forwarding fusiness. Diallo was CEO of DHL Global Forwarding for Africa and South Asia Pacific and a member of the DHL Global Forwarding, freight management board. Before that, he was CFO of the DHL Logistics division in the UK and managing director responsible for the integration of the supply chain management company Exel and DHL Logistics.
DHL has also named Thomas George as COO of DHL Global Forwarding. In this newly created role, George will continue to be a member of the DHL Global Forwarding, freight management board reporting to Roger Crook, CEO DHL Global Forwarding, Freight. George is responsible for the global air and ocean freight operations including value-added services and all other operational functions. George joined Deutsche Post DHL in 2004 as a member of the divisional board of DHL Express Europe.
Clayton Gording has joined Reimer Associates Inc as a vice-president. Clayton recently retired as president of YRC Reimer in Winnipeg. He brings to the position senior management experience in transportation and a network that has been developed over almost 45 years with Reimer Express Lines. Clayton will continue to be based in Winnipeg. Reimer Associates specializes in recruitment for the transportation and supply chain industry.
