Paul Hensley has joined Cincinnati, Ohio-based Intelligrated as senior sales engineer for central regional operations, an area which includes Tennessee, Arkansas, part of Kentucky and part of Mississippi. He will report directly to Eric Collier, sales manager of manufacturing systems, central operations. Intelligrated has additional operations in a number of US states, as well as Ontario and Quebec, Mexico City, Mexico and São Paulo, Brazil.
Diane Duren is the new executive vice-president of Omaha, Nebraska-based Union Pacific. She will be responsible for strategic planning, administration and human resources. Duren will also act as corporate secretary. She will begin the bulk of her duties in February 2013, after the retirement of Charley Eisele, senior vice-president of strategic planning and administration and Barb Schaefer, corporate secretary and senior vice-president of human resources. Beth Whited is taking over the role of vice-president and general manager of chemicals, Duren’s former position. Roy Schroer will be vice-president of human resources, effective in February.
New York, New York-based BizSlate Inc, a provider of cloud-based supply chain software, named George Mulling to its board of directors.
Paul Gettings is the new senior vice-president for sales and marketing of Network Global Logistics. Before joining the Broomfield, Colorado-based logistics services company, he launched a supply chain software division as president of Solutions for Data Exchange Corp.
The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP) elected new officers and appointed chairs to its 2012-2013 board of directors. Rick Jackson, executive vice-president of Mast Global Logistics Inc, is the new chair of the board. Nancy Nix, professor of supply chain practice at Texas Christian University and executive director of the school’s executive MBA program now holds the title of immediate past chair. Heather Sheehan, vice-president of indirect sourcing and logistics at Danaher Corp is now board chair elect. Ted Stank, chair of business and professor of supply chain management at the University of Tennessee, is board vice-chair. Kevin Smith, president and CEO of Sustainable Supply Chain Consulting is secretary and treasurer. Mark Baxa, director of global trade operations for Monsanto was named roundtable chair. John Bowersox, manager of customer service operations for Kohler Company, is young professionals’ chair. Mary Long, vice-president logistics and network planning at Domino’s Pizza, is the corporate member focus member-at-large chair. Remko van Hoek, director global procurement at PwC, is now European focus member-at-large chair. Chris Moberg, chair marketing department at Ohio University, is certification chair. Walter Zinn, chair of marketing and logistics department at Ohio State University, is education strategies chair. Eric Peltz, associate director of National Security Research Division at RAND Corporation, is research strategies chair. Brian Hancock, president of North America for Martin-Brower Company, is program chair. Rick Blasgen serves as president and chief executive officer of Lombard, Illinois-based CSCMP.
