Who’s on the move: April 17, 2017

CX North America added the following staff members at its Tecumseh, Ontario head office: Irvin Banut as regional marketing manager, Julia Reznikov as client engagement manager, and Dawn Allman as sales executive. Banut brings a wealth of digital marketing knowledge to CX North America. Previously, he worked as a digital marketing manager at Web Geeks, Inc. and as a digital account coordinator at Momentum Digital Solutions. He studied advertising and marketing communications management at St. Clair College. With more than nine years of experience providing customer service in a variety of businesses, Reznikov earned a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Windsor and a graduate degree in business administration from Thompson Rivers University. Allman has more than 17 years of account management experience with companies like USA Mobility and Arch Wireless.

Paul George Dittmann has been appointed as member of the Transportation Safety Board. This appointment is for four years, starting on May 1, 2017. Joseph Hincke has also been reappointed for a term of three years, starting on April 9, 2017.

JDA Software Group, Inc. promoted Mark Morgan to executive vice president and chief revenue officer. This change comes as Razat Gaurav, who has held the same responsibility since October 2015, leaves the company to pursue other opportunities. JDA has also appointed David Rye to the newly created role of senior vice president of strategy and corporate development. Morgan most recently served as senior vice president of sales for JDA’s North American operations. Prior to that, he served as regional vice president of sales for the company’s Europe, Middle East and Africa operations and as vice president leading the JDA’s North American manufacturing sales organization. From 2007 to 2016, Rye was with Informatica Corporation, where he served as senior vice president of corporate development responsible for strategy, corporate and business development, strategic investments, and operational transformation initiatives. Rye began his career in investment banking at Robertson Stephens & Co.

American Airlines Cargo has appointed Lorena Sandoval as managing director of its Florida, Caribbean and Latin America (FCLA) division.  She takes over from much-loved industry stalwart, Carmen Taylor who retired from the airline at the end of 2016. Sandoval joined the carrier 26 years ago in Quito, Ecuador and has held a number of positions in passenger sales, reservations and operations, most recently as sales operations manager responsible for 43 ticket sales centres across the region. Sandoval is based at the airline’s Miami, FL station.
