Kevin Bowen Appointed to Spiroflow Advisory BoardBulk material handling and powder processing leader Spiroflow has appointed industry veteran Kevin Bowen as a member of its Strategic Advisory Board. The role of the Advisory Board is to provide guidance on market growth, product strategy and innovation. Bowen is an undisputed industry leader having had a long and distinguished career in various roles at K-Tron, culminating as President of Coperion K-Tron at Hillenbrand.

CEVA Logistics has appointed Stephen Dean as Senior Vice President Business Development – Contract Logistics for North America.  He will be based at the company’s Jacksonville, Florida facility and will report to Executive Vice President Business Development North America, Casey Fisher. Dean brings over 30 years logistics industry experience to CEVA – including 25 in contract logistics. He has extensive know-how in leading marketing, engineering and solutions teams based on senior positions held at Menlo Worldwide, Ryder Systems and Con-way. Dean is also well-versed in LEAN methodologies and practices which underpin all CEVA’s international activities and will focus on developing solutions which meet the needs of both new and existing customers.

Michael Wohlwend joined International Business Systems (IBS), a supplier of integrated ERP, warehouse management systems (WMS) and supply chain solutions, as General Manager of Americas. Wohlwend brings 25 years of supply chain industry experience to his position at IBS. He has held leadership positions with several well-known software and consulting companies, most recently, as Head of Global Cloud Services for Infor. Prior to that, Wohlwend served in senior leadership positions at SAP America for six years, including Head of Americas Cloud Unification and VP of Services for SAP’s Midwest Region. At Manhattan Associates for seven years, he held senior sales roles. In addition to being a frequent industry article author and speaker, Wohlwend has been an Executive Board Member of WERC since 2008.

Seizmic, Inc appointed Jeff Woroniecki as President. Woroniecki will oversee the overall operations of the Covina, California-based material handling engineering firm. Woroniecki most recently served as Chief Operating Officer at MHI. He has over 25 years of material handling industry experience including previous roles at MHI member companies UNARCO Material Handling and Interlake Mecalux. Woroniecki holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering (BSCE) in Structural & Materials Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Operations & Management from Loyola University.
