TFI International

Long time independent director Lucien Bouchard is retiring from the board of TFI International Inc. effective August 23, 2021. Bouchard originally joined in 2007. Bouchard served as the premier of Quebec, Canada’s secretary of state and minister of the environment, was appointed the Canadian ambassador to France in 1985, and has served on multiple high-profile corporate and non-profit boards. “We will be forever grateful for the insights and perspectives Lucien brought to TFI International over a long period of substantial growth and geographic expansion for our company,” said Alain Bédard, chairman, president and CEO. “He has my heartfelt gratitude, and on behalf of everyone at TFI International, we wish Lucien all the very best in the years ahead.”

Phantom Auto

Tom Kaminski

Phantom Auto has appointed Tom Kaminski as chief technology officer (CTO). Kaminski was most recently director of robotics, worldwide AGV at Amazon and has over 20 years of experience in the automated guided vehicles (AGV), autonomous mobile robot (AMR), and material handling industries. Before Amazon, Kaminski was vice-president of mobile automation at Dematic and CEO at Egemin Automation.

Boise Cascade

Tom Hoffmann

Boise Cascade Company has promoted Tom Hoffmann to senior vice-president. He previously led the purchasing activities for the building materials distribution (BMD) division. Hoffmann began his 40-year career with Boise Cascade as a sales trainee at the Company’s Salt Lake City BMD branch following his 1981 graduation from the University of Idaho with a bachelor’s degree in marketing and management. He steadily advanced through various lumber sales and product management roles. Hoffmann moved to the Denver location in 1987 and eventually was named its branch manager. He relocated to Idaho to Boise Cascade’s headquarters as the Pacific Region manager, followed by division operations manager, and a promotion to vice-president of operations in 2016.

Carrier Global Corporation

Timothy White has been named president of Carrier Global Corporation’s refrigeration segment. White succeeds David Appel who will remain with the company and take on a leadership role within the refrigeration segment, leading the commercial refrigeration business. White most recently served as CEO, Onshore Wind Americas for General Electric. He was previously with Raytheon Technologies for 24 years where he held a number of senior leadership roles, including president, power and controls and president, electric systems for the company’s Collins Aerospace division.
