Appointments, promotions, moves and changes in the supply chain sector this week

Margaret McKenzie

Margaret McKenzie has been appointed to the board of directors of CN. McKenzie has more than 30 years of experience in the energy sector in the areas of management, finance, accounting, compensation and corporate governance. She was a founder and the chief financial officer of Range Royalty Management Ltd. from 2006 to 2014 and the chief financial officer of Profico Energy Management Ltd. from 2000 to 2006. McKenzie has served on both public and private boards since 2006.  She currently serves as a director of PrairieSky Royalty Ltd, Ovintiv Corporation (previously Encana Corporation) and InterPipeline Limited. McKenzie has been a Chartered Accountant (CPA CA) since 1985. She obtained her ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors in 2013.

Tim Robertson

Tim Robertson will succeed Bill Meahl as CEO for DHL Global Forwarding Americas. Meahl is retiring after a career spanning almost four decades at DHL. Robertson reports directly to Tim Scharwath, CEO DHL Global Forwarding, Freight. Robertson joined DHL in 2002 as vice-president strategic development for the forwarding division, followed by several management positions in operations, business development, and marketing & sales in the Americas region and Europe. In 2018 Robertson was appointed as CIO DHL Global Forwarding Americas in addition to his role as Head of BPO. Before joining DHL, he served as an analyst and consultant providing guidance on topics related to corporate strategy, supply chain performance and strategic sourcing for diverse clients in various industries in Australia. He holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School. Meahl’s retirement is effective September 2021.

Patrick Goris has been named senior vice-president and CFO of Carrier Corporation, effective November 16, 2020. Goris will succeed Timothy McLevish. McLevish will remain with the company until his retirement on February 15, 2021 in the role of special advisor to Carrier’s president and CEO Dave Gitlin. Since 2017, Goris has been senior vice-president and chief financial officer of Rockwell Automation, Inc.
