MHI has revealed the three finalists in the MODEX 2024 StartUp Pitch Competition.
The three companies, selected by an independent panel of supply chain professionals, are Gig and Take; Paccurate; and Two Boxes.
Gig and Take offers workforce management software that allows workers and employers to take a more flexible approach to shifts and working hours, while also optimizing the labour force.
Paccurate bills itself as a “parcel packing intelligence platform”, which in plain language means it provides cartonization software. It helps shippers make better packaging decisions, and provides complete control over how every order is packed.
Two Boxes is a returns service. It integrates with platforms like Shopify and Loop and helps brands and third-party logistics providers (3PLs) collect data on customer returns to facilitate and improve the process.
These innovative companies were also chosen to exhibit in the MODEX StartUp Pavillion, which will be located in Hall A of the Georgia World Congress Center. The StartUp Pavilion is a specialized area on the MODEX show floor where companies showcase emerging supply chain tech and innovation.
Competition Overview
During the StartUp Pitch Competition, each finalist will have exactly eight minutes to present their cutting-edge supply chain solution. Following their presentations, they will participate in a seven-minute Q&A session with a judging panel comprised of supply chain experts. The winner will be awarded a $10,000 cheque, which will be presented during MHI Industry Night at MODEX on March 13.
The StartUp Pitch Competition will be held at the MODEX StartUp Theater from 3-4 PM on Tuesday, March 12.
