Manitoulin Global Forwarding (MGF) has acquired World Wide International Logistics (WWIL), a customs brokerage and freight forwarding company that operates out of Chicago, Illinois.

Lineage Logistics Holdings, LLC has acquired Pago Sp. z o.o., a warehousing, distribution and transport logistics provider in Poland. The acquisition marks Lineage’s entrance into the Polish market and adds six assets to Lineage’s global network of temperature-controlled facilities.

CEVA Logistics and the Mondadori Group have signed a new contract extending the partnership for another five years. The collaboration between the two companies began in May 2017 and covers a wide range of activities, including warehouse management, transport, order picking for e-commerce and returns. The CEVA Logistics Italia team will also continue to manage B2C orders for the Mondadori Group.

Israeli-based Caja Robotics, which develops and installs robots and software for warehouses, will upgrade a logistics center operated by Sela Logistics. Sela is a 3PL with seven logistics centres spanning an overall area of over 1.2 million square feet. The company’s clients include: Nike, Adidas, Levi’s, Diesel, Hugo Boss, and more. 

Seafrigo Group and WiseTech Global have announced the global rollout of CargoWise across 19 countries in the Seafrigo network. Seafrigo operations span the globe with a team of over 1,200 logistics professionals. The group provides services across freight forwarding, airfreight, road transportation, warehousing under ambient and controlled temperature and customs brokerage.

Gebrüder Weiss received regulatory approval for its takeover of Ipsen Logistics, which was announced in July, 2020. Gebrüder Weiss has taken on the 180 employees spread across eight locations in Germany. Ipsen’s locations in Germany are now operating under the name of Gebrüder Weiss. The national companies in Belgium, Malaysia and Poland will change their names at the start of 2021.

Interroll reports a large order for a leading German supermarket chain. The order includes the supply of more than nine kilometers of Interroll Modular Conveyor Platform (MCP), including a record number of EC 5000 RollerDrive units for a greenfield project in Germany.
