Kardex Remstar has released the Element Vertical Lift Module (VLM), a combination of vertically arranged storage trays.

The Element VLM provides facilities more storage capacity in less space without the need to build or relocate, the company said. It can be reconfigured any time to meet changing requirements and ranges in height from 13 to 26 feet. The height can be adjusted in 1.6-foot increments. Transport rollers allow the unit to be easily relocated.

When a tray is stored, the Element VLM scans the height of the items and stores the tray in the least amount of space needed. This helps ensure storage density and allows facilities to change the height of the stored product at any time without reconfiguring the unit, Kardex Remstar said.
