TEMPE, ARIZ: Two new tablet computers from DAP Technologies offer new display technology, portability, modularity and extreme ruggedness.

The company says the two new Windows CE 6.0-based rugged tablet computers—models M8930 and M8940—feature optically enhanced touch screens that use ambient light to help make the screen easier to view in any light condition.

The tablets are made with warehouse, field service and trucking operators in mind. DAP says their ruggedness will help ensure they work indoors and outdoors, regardless of extreme temperatures, direct impacts, chemical spills, scratches and other conditions.

The DAP M8930 comes in a seven-inch full-screen and the DAP M8940 comes in a 6.2-inch screen with a 64-key QWERTY alpha-numeric keyboard.
