DHL hires new south Asia VP

DHL Danzas Air & Ocean has appointed Thomas Tieber as south Asia vice president and Thailand country manager.
Tieber will oversee the company’s joint venture in India – DHL Danzas Lemuir – which comprises over 360 staff at 15 locations in major cities, reports schednet.com.

He will also be responsible for the company’s various agent operations in Bangladesh, Laos, Myanmar, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
Tieber will report to Peter Landsiedel, Chief Executive Officer – Asia Pacific, DHL Danzas Air & Ocean.
