DP World Expands Integrated Supply Chain Network Across Canada

DP World has expanded its Integrated Logistics Services offering across Canada, consolidating its ports, terminals, freight forwarding, transportation, warehousing and digital logistics under a single end‑to‑end commercial model. The approach gives shippers one accountable logistics partner with one contract, one bill of lading and one invoice, aimed at simplifying execution and improving visibility across increasingly complex supply chains.

The expansion adds new multimodal routing options through the Salish Sea Gateway, combining short‑sea barge services with trucking, rail, drayage and inland logistics. The integrated model increases routing flexibility, supports congestion reduction and creates opportunities to shift more freight to marine transport to lower emissions.

The offering is supported by Oracle Transportation Management, providing real‑time shipment visibility, API and EDI connectivity, advanced analytics and access to platforms including Cargoes Flow, Project44 and FourKites.

DP World completed its first integrated shipment under the expanded model on July 5, moving cargo from Mississauga, Ont., to Coquitlam, B.C., using local LTL transport, rail and final‑mile LTL delivery under a single bill of lading. The company said coordinating three transportation providers through one solution reduced emissions by using rail for the long‑haul segment and demonstrated how its integrated network can streamline execution and strengthen supply‑chain resilience.
