Hyster launches new automated lift truck platform

Hyster has unveiled a new automated lift truck platform, Hyster Atlas, designed to simplify deployment and boost efficiency in manufacturing operations.

The system features a drag-and-drop portal for fast setup and easy management, eliminating the need for software engineering or custom coding.

“Teams can achieve a lot through grit and hard work. Hyster Atlas is designed to be a force multiplier to make work easier, drive greater efficiency and push output even higher,” said Steven LaFevers, vice-president, global emerging technology. “What teams cannot tolerate is wasting time getting cumbersome technology to cooperate.”

The first model available on the platform is an automated tow tractor, compatible with multiple cart styles and equipped with options such as automated hitching, wireless charging and remote fleet management.

Hyster says automation components are added on top of its standard lift trucks, allowing for updates without affecting other systems, with service available through its dealer network.
