Hangcha Forklift Canada secures new contracts, supplies lithium-powered models

Hangcha Forklift Canada has landed two contracts worth more than $1.5 million with Mitchell Plastics and Woodbridge Pallet, marking a milestone in the company’s five-year history.

In collaboration with Integralift Sales and Services, Hangcha Canada supplied 22 lithium-ion forklifts to Mitchell Plastics, an automotive manufacturer serving North America. The order includes 17 Narrow Aisle Pantograph Reach Trucks, three 3-Wheel Electric Forklift Trucks and two 4-Wheel Electric Cushion Tire Forklifts, aimed at improving efficiency in narrow aisle operations.

The company also partnered with Ri-Go Lift Truck to deliver 10 High-Voltage Lithium Battery Forklifts to Woodbridge Pallet, replacing propane-powered models.

“Switching from propane-fired forklifts eliminates propane costs, reduces service costs, boosts productivity and aligns with our vision for cleaner, more efficient operations and improved employee wellbeing,” said Terence van Rooyen, senior buyer at Woodbridge Pallet.

Hangcha Canada says its direct-distribution model and dealer network, which spans every Canadian province, allow it to provide agile and responsive service.

“These contracts showcase the hard work of our network coming together to deliver real results,” said John Sedlacek, national sales director at Hangcha Canada.

The company plans to follow up with case studies to assess the impact of the new equipment on operations.
