Trois-Rivières Port Authority

The Trois-Rivières Port Authority (TRPA) announced the appointment of Anick Métivier as president and chief executive officer.

With more than 30 years of experience in the port industry, Métivier will draw on his expertise, understanding of the sector and experience with the Trois-Rivières Port Authority to continue, alongside stakeholders, the modernization and development of the Port of Trois-Rivières.

Following a rigorous process led by a special committee of the TRPA Board of Directors, he will succeed Gaétan Boivin, who has served as CEO for the past 19 years, effective Nov. 17.

Groupe Morneau

Groupe Morneau announced changes within its leadership it says reflects the continuation of its vision for sustainable growth and operational excellence.

Marco Roussel, currently chief operating officer of the GLOBAL business unit, will see his responsibilities expanded to include BOREA. Recognized for his operational expertise and leadership, he will work to strengthen cohesion and efficiency across the Group’s various units, fostering greater synergy between logistics and refrigerated transport.

Frédéric Ruel has been appointed vice-president, growth and innovation. In this role, he will be responsible for identifying and developing high-potential business partnerships to support the Group’s long-term growth. His understanding of the North American logistics network will help drive innovation and the continued development of Groupe Morneau.

Dominic Savard joins Groupe Morneau as vice-president, pricing. With more than 25 years of experience in operations management and logistics solutions, he will leverage his expertise to enhance performance and advance pricing practices across the organization.

GXO Logistics

GXO announced the appointment of Michael Jacobs, formerly senior vice-president of supply chain, Ferguson Enterprises, Inc., as president of the Americas and Asia Pacific.

Jacobs brings more than three decades of experience in all aspects of supply chain operations with expertise spanning consumer packaged goods, retail and industrial. At Ferguson, Jacobs led the transformation of its supply chain — improving service, increasing productivity through robotics and automation and enhancing demand forecasting and product transit predictability by leveraging AI. At Keurig, Inc., he led worldwide distribution and e-commerce fulfilment, achieving best-in-class operating levels. Prior, he led global supply chain operations at Toys “R” Us, Inc., across all divisions in 33 countries.
