Polaris Transportation Group announced that Mo Baki has been promoted to the role of vice-president of operations.

The company said Baki’s promotion from director of operations reflects his skills and bias for action in scaling operations and delivering transformative results across the business and supply chain. His foundation starts with both an Undergraduate Degree and Master’s from the University of Ottawa. This, combined with over 12 years of experience in transportation and operations, the most recent at Amazon, has resulted in successive wins for the business, customers and staff at Polaris.

IMC Logistics

IMC Logistics has named Mark McKendry as president of its Canadian Region. McKendry will lead the company’s first international expansion in Toronto, Ont., expected to open in the second quarter of 2026.

McKendry steps into the role as Canada’s trade landscape is shifting. As Canadian shippers diversify sourcing strategies and containerized volumes grow, IMC is expanding its proven drayage expertise into a new market. Paired with McKendry’s knowledge of Canadian freight and logistics, the company says it is positioned to deliver capacity and real-time container visibility from day one.

Universal Logistics Holdings

Universal Logistics Holdings, Inc. announced that Michael Rogers has been appointed chief financial officer and treasurer, effective June 1, 2026.

Rogers currently serves as chief financial officer of Conlan Tire Co., Hercules Materials Holdings and their privately held affiliates. Prior to that time, Rogers spent approximately 30 years with Ford Motor Company in a variety of finance-related leadership roles, including Model e controller – product development, global controller – warranty, global controller – material planning and logistics, and finance director, Canada, Mexico and South America Operations.
