CPKC Women’s Open raises record $4.95 million

Canadian Pacific Kansas City (CPKC) says the 2026 CPKC Women’s Open raised a record $4.95 million to support heart healthcare in Alberta.

Miyu Yamashita won the tournament at Royal Mayfair Golf Club, finishing 23 under par and winning by nine strokes for her fourth Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Tour victory.

CPKC presented $4.4 million to the Stollery Children’s Hospital Foundation and helped raise $550,000 for the Royal Alexandra Hospital Foundation benefiting the CK Hui Heart Centre.

“Raising nearly $5 million to support hearts across the province will make a life‑changing difference for children and families who need it most,” said Keith Creel, president and CEO of CPKC.

Since 2014, the CPKC Women’s Open has helped raise more than $31 million for children’s cardiac care. Across its network, CPKC Has Heart has contributed more than $78 million to heart health initiatives.
