Who’s on the move: August 14, 2017

MHI announced two newly elected Roundtable Advisory Committee members who will begin their terms January 1, 2018. Chris Becker, President of GW Becker, Inc, and Eddie Murphy, Owner/President of SpaceGuard Products, Inc, will both serve four-year terms. MHI also announced that Kevin O’Neill, President of Steele Solutions, has been elected to become the MHI Vice President. Gregg Goodner, Board Member, Hytrol Conveyor Company, Inc, will be the MHI Chairman and Brett Wood, President & CEO, Toyota Material Handling, North America, the MHI President.  Each of these roles will be a two-year term.

The Manitowoc Company, Inc announced that after more than 20 years of service Lawrence Weyers provided notice to the Board of Directors of the Company of his desire to leave the Company, effective August 31, 2017. Weyers currently serves as executive vice-president, tower cranes, and has held various other executive management positions since joining the Company in 1998. Aaron Ravenscroft will become executive vice-president of cranes and will be based out of the company’s Dardilly, France facility. Ravenscroft currently serves as the company’s executive vice-president, mobile cranes.

Dave Link, a food industry veteran with more than 27 years of experience, joins EMW Industrial as CEO. Link most recently was Product Line Manager for Cargill Texturizing Solutions, based in Minneapolis, Minnesota.  A native of Minnesota, he holds a business degree from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. He started his career with Cargill in 1990 and has held many operations and commercial roles with the company.  An ambitious and results-driven leader, Dave brings a wealth of leadership and business insights that will help EMW support their growing customer base. He succeeds Ewen Morrison as CEO, who had led the company since its early beginnings in 1971, Morrison will continue as President.
