James Staley, who has served as a director of the company since October 2010 and as lead independent director since December 2016, has been appointed as the new chairman of the board for Roadrunner Transportation Systems, Inc. Staley succeeds Scott Rued, who served as chairman from March 2010 to November 2017, and Mark DiBlasi, who served as vice chairman from April 2017 to November 2017. From 2004 through December 2007, Staley served in various capacities for YRC Worldwide, Inc. and its subsidiaries, one of the world’s largest transportation services providers, including as president and CEO of Roadway Group and YRC Regional Transportation. Prior to that, Staley served for over 30 years in various capacities for Roadway Express, including president and chief operating officer.
Susan Adzick has been promoted from vice president of sales and marketing to senior vice president of sales and strategic relationships at the McLane Company, Inc. Adzick will lead the entire business development and national account functions for McLane Foodservice. Adzick, who joined the company in 2000, will assume the expanded responsibility of providing the strategic direction, business development and customer relationship management for the entire portfolio of valued customers of McLane Foodservice. Currently, she is incoming chair of the Women’s Foodservice Forum Board of Directors. She also serves on the National Restaurant Association Board of Directors, Executive Committee and Business Strategy Committee, the National Restaurant Educational Foundation Board of Trustees, Executive Committee and the Restaurant Leadership Conference Advisory Board.
Seldat Distribution Inc has promoted Shuny Shaw to national staffing sales manager. Shaw manages all staffing sales nationwide and will oversee the opening of four to six new US Seldat locations. Shaw started with Seldat in May 2017, starting out as the Western Region sales manager and quickly moving up the ranks to this most recent promotion. Before coming to Seldat, she held sales positions at both Randstad and Adecco. In her new position, Shaw will oversee a team of nearly 500 employees in Seldat’s current and planned locations.
