Appointments, promotions, moves and changes in the supply chain sector

Ann Pompilio has joined TSI Group as partner. Pompilio brings more than 25 years of executive experience in finance and supply chain, having spent 11 years as vice-president, finance and CFO for SCI Group, a subsidiary of Canada Post. While at SCI Group, brought several high-profile customers including Lowe’s and Amazon, into Canada. Pompilio will be based out of the Toronto office.

Minister of transport Marc Garneau has made the following appointments to various Canadian ports authorities: Belledune Port Authority: Lucien Sonier of Caraquet, New Brunswick is newly appointed as director for a term of three years. Montréal Port Authority: Hélène Lauzon of Montréal, Québec is newly appointed as director for a term of three years; and Johanne Lépine of  Verdun, Québec is newly appointed as director for a term of two years. Saint John Port Authority: Thomas O’Neil of Saint John, New Brunswick is newly appointed as director for a term of three years. Sept-Îles Port Authority: Nancy Jourdain of Uashat, Québec is newly appointed as director for a term of three years. Trois-Rivières Port Authority: Luc Arvisais of Shawinigan, Québec is re-appointed as director for a term of three years. Vancouver Fraser Port Authority: Lisa Ethans of West Vancouver, British Columbia is newly appointed as director for a term of three years; Eugene Kwan of Vancouver, BC is re-appointed as director for a term of 23 months; Catherine McLay of Surrey, British Columbia is newly appointed as director for a term of three years; Richard Turner of West Vancouver, British Columbia is re-appointed as director for a term of one year.

Blas Jimenez

Blas Jimenez has been appointed national operations manager for B&H Worldwide. Reporting to VP Americas, Reg Echeumuna, he is based in Miami, Florida, and will also spend considerable time working out of the company’s west coast USA office in Los Angeles. Jimenez joins B&H from OCASA Logistics where he was USA chief of operations and brings with him some 25 years’ experience of the logistics industry in North America, Latin America and the Caribbean.

Rami Osman

At the same time, Rami Osman who has recently celebrated 10 years of working at B&H has relocated from Los Angeles to London to become export manager. Reporting to Neil Blakemore, general manager UK operations, he will be responsible for managing the export teams and the global AOG centre. In addition to working in Los Angeles for B&H where he helped set up the client inventory facility there he has also spent time operating from the company’s Miami and Dubai offices.
