Women’s Leadership Accord reaches 75 organizations

Trucking HR Canada announced that three additional organizations have joined its Women’s Leadership Accord, bringing total participation to 75 organizations across the country.

According to the announcement, the new signatories were welcomed during the Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association annual conference and AGM. The accord is intended to encourage employers to recruit, retain and support women in the trucking and logistics sector.

The organization said participating companies commit to creating workplaces that support women’s career advancement and leadership development while promoting transportation and logistics careers to a broader talent pool.

According to the release, the accord now includes 75 organizations from across Canada working to increase female participation and leadership representation throughout the trucking industry.
