Ottawa-based GoFor has appointed Daphne Huang as chief financial officer and Gary Porter as chief analytics and development officer. Huang has more than two decades of experience as a financial executive with expertise with public companies. Before GoFor, Huang served as CFO and chief accounting officer for Taro, CFO at Humanwell Healthcare USA and Puracap International, and held several positions in financial services at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, FleetBoston, and GE Capital. She earned an MBA in Finance and Management from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University and a BBA in accounting. Porter brings to GoFor over 24 years of experience. Before joining GoFor, Porter was a senior principal consultant with P&C Global, a vice-president with Waste Management and a management consultant with McKinsey & Company. A graduate of M.I.T. with dual engineering and Sloan School of Management degrees, Porter also holds a degree from Harvard Law School.

Pinnacle Logistics Solutions, has hired Dan Thorne as a principal consultant. With more than 35 years in the industry across the majority of sectors, Thorne brings both expertise and relationships to Pinnacle. Thorne spent eight years at Mammoet before joining Pinnacle, but his career has been a focus on construction logistics and engineering for the better part of four decades.
Global Container International Holdings
Global Container International Holdings LLC (GCI) has hired Stephen Controulis to be its chief financial officer. Controulis is an accomplished C-Suite executive with significant experience in financial services, including more than 20 years in the container leasing industry where he was CFO of Triton Container International Limited. Most recently, he was CFO for Solar Mosaic, a specialty clean-energy finance company. He earned an MBA degree from the University of Michigan and a BS degree from New York University. Global Container International LLC is a Bermuda-based marine container leasing company.
