Jane Craighead has been appointed to the Wajax board of directors. Craighead current serves on the boards of Jarislowsky Fraser Limited, Intertape Polymer Group Inc. and Crombie REIT, the McGill University Health Centre Foundation and is a member of the board of regents of Mount Allison University. Craighead was previously senior vice-president, global human resources at the Bank of Nova Scotia. Before that, she was global practice leader, rewards, at Rio Tinto Plc, and the Eastern Canada human capital advisory services business leader at Mercer Human Resources Consulting. Craighead holds a Ph.D. in management and a graduate diploma in accounting from McGill University, and is a Chartered Professional Accountant.
The TT Club has appointed its first chief technology officer. Kevin Blunsum is a highly experienced and respected member of the London insurance community. Over his 30-year career he has held a variety of positions engaged in insurance technology development and change management with Deloitte, EY, Accenture, and more recently with Aspen Insurance as Director of Business Transformation. Blunsum will be working closely with Lisa Gibbard, the recently appointed CIO of TT Club’s management company, Thomas Miller.
American Trucking Associations has named Katie McMichael as the first executive director of the association’s Moving and Storage Conference. McMichael joined the ATA last year as director of the MSC, overseeing the creation of the Moving and Storage Conference in August 2020. Previously, she served as director of government affairs for the American Moving and Storage Association where she worked as the head lobbyist responsible for educating and increasing the household goods industry presence with Hill staff and legislators, and directed grassroots efforts within the association. She has also held positions with the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association and on Capitol Hill.
Michael Joyce has joined Dollar General as senior vice-president of supply chain strategy, inventory and demand management. Joyce previously served as senior vice-president of planning, replenishment and supply chain optimization at JO-ANN Stores having held various roles of increasing responsibility during his four years with the company. Before that, he led advanced analytics consulting initiatives at KPMG and McKinsey & Company, as well as various roles in supply chain, IT and analytics at Amazon, Xilinx Inc. and Johnson & Johnson.
