Erik Levesque has joined Product Strategy in Montreal to further develop its growing portfolio of regional and national clients. Levesque has a wealth of experience within the consulting industry, including five years as an entrepreneur in the supply chain management consulting field where he was instrumental in acquiring numerous large corporate accounts.
Rhonda Johnson of Port Alberni, British Columbia, has been appointed to the board of directors of the Port Alberni Port Authority for a term of three years. Johnson has lived and worked in Port Alberni since 2001: first as General Manager of Batstar Adventure Tours from 2001 to 2010, and then as a lawyer since 2010. She also taught Micro and Macro Economics at North Island College’s Port Alberni Campus, from 2009 to 2012. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB), a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in English, and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Alberta. She was a member of the Law Society of Alberta from 1991 to 2001, and has been an active member of the Law Society of British Columbia since 2010.
Patriot Rail Company LLC promoted Jennifer Whiteman to CFO, and appointed Justin Broyles as Vice President, Sales. Whiteman brings over 15 years of experience in finance and accounting with both private and public rail transportation companies. In Whiteman’s most recent position as Vice President, Finance and Accounting for Patriot, she successfully led the corporate centralization of the finance and accounting groups, while simultaneously spearheading a corporate-wide SAP implementation. She graduated from the University of Florida at Gainesville with her Masters of Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Florida and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Broyles brings over 14 years’ experience in the rail transportation industry. His expertise includes creating and implementing innovative sales and marketing strategies, customer relationship management, and effective sales training. Previously, Broyles held a number of business development positions at R. J. Corman Railroad Group, LLC. Most recently, Broyles served as Assistant Vice President, Sales & Marketing. He received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Southern Illinois University.
SUNTECK has appointed Ken Forster as CEO. Since 2013, Forster has served as an Executive Partner for Comvest Partners, working closely on strategic initiatives and business development opportunities for SUNTECK. Additionally, he has helped attract and hire key leaders to SUNTECK’s management team. He previously served as CEO of Velocity Express LLC, a portfolio company of Comvest Partners that was successfully sold to Transforce Inc in 2013. SUNTECK also hired Sean Clancy as Chief Information Officer (CIO), responsible for the continuing development of technology capabilities for SUNTECK’s growing agent network. He brings over 20 years of experience to this role, including a unique blend of strategic business expertise, a broad project background and technology innovation. Before joining SUNTECK, Sean was vice president of global information systems with Kuehne & Nagel, Inc. He is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin (Whitewater) with a BBA in Management Computer Systems and a BBA in Human Resource Management.
