Accuris has launched an updated version of its Supply Chain Intelligence platform that adds AI-powered component search, bill-of-materials monitoring, alternate-part recommendations and impact analysis tools for manufacturers managing component risk.
The platform is designed to help engineering, procurement and compliance teams monitor risks across bills of materials, identify affected programs and evaluate replacement components before supply chain issues disrupt production. According to the company, the platform’s data foundation includes information on 1.3 billion electronic components.
New features include a BOM Health Agent that continuously monitors lifecycle, compliance, supply and cost risks, forecasts component obsolescence and prioritizes issues based on potential impact. The platform also provides ranked alternate-component recommendations and allows users to model the effects of component changes before implementation.
The platform is available through cloud, embedded and on-premises deployment options, including support for air-gapped environments. According to a March 2026 survey commissioned by the company, 74 per cent of engineering and supply chain professionals spend at least four hours per week monitoring bills of materials manually, while 62 per cent identify compliance issues only after the design stage.
“Supply chain intelligence is only as reliable as the data behind it,” said Claude Pumilia, CEO of Accuris. “The market does not need more alerts or AI-generated answers that teams cannot validate. It needs accurate intelligence connected to authoritative sources, with recommendations people can understand and defend.”
