Coupa has launched a new artificial intelligence platform designed to help enterprises automate procurement, finance and supply chain workflows through AI agents.
The company said its new offering, called Coupa Compose, allows organizations to build, manage and coordinate a “digital workforce” of AI agents across spend management operations. The platform includes tools for building custom AI agents, orchestrating workflows and connecting with third-party systems.
“Coupa AI is fundamentally different from anything else in the market. While others are bolting AI onto aging systems, we have one platform that scales — with governance — for your data, your workflows, and your agents,” said Leagh Turner, chief executive officer of Coupa.
The company made the announcement during its Inspire 2026 conference in Las Vagas, and said the platform is built on more than $10 trillion in spend data and is designed to help businesses automate complex tasks while maintaining governance and oversight.
Coupa also announced the launch of Coupa Catalyst, a new AI transformation service that provides customers with engineering and consulting support to help deploy AI systems within their organizations.
“To win in the agentic era, your ability to absorb change must match the speed of the technology,” said Salvatore Lombardo, Coupa’s chief product and technology officer.
According to the company, the platform currently includes more than 20 AI agents focused on areas such as sourcing, bid comparison, sanctions risk analysis and opportunity analysis. Coupa said the tools can reduce setup times by as much as 40 per cent and help organizations identify operational efficiencies.
The company said broader third-party integrations are expected to become available in September 2026.
