FedEx launches global program to streamline digital integrations for supply-chain software

FedEx Corp. has launched a new global program designed to make it easier for supply-chain management software providers and digital platforms to integrate FedEx services and access real-time shipment information.
The FedEx Integrator Program expands the company’s digital integration options through APIs and webhooks, aiming to address growing industry challenges such as poor channel visibility and uneven customer experiences as third-party logistics ecosystems expand.
“The FedEx Integrator Program reflects our commitment to making our services more accessible and reliable for businesses as they scale,” said Jason Brenner, senior vice-president of digital portfolio at FedEx. “By enabling shipping and logistics platforms to embed FedEx capabilities easily through self-serve integration, we ensure consistent, dependable shipping experiences so merchants can stay focused on growing their business. These simplified integration paths expand choice, reduce setup hurdles and provide clearer shipment visibility—giving businesses the flexibility they need.”
The initiative complements the long-running FedEx Compatible program, which allows third-party solutions to offer FedEx shipping directly through their platforms. The number of available Compatible solutions has more than doubled since 2018. Under the new program, eligible providers can access a streamlined integration experience, improved customer onboarding and the potential to join the FedEx Compatible portfolio.
FedEx says the launch positions the company to benefit from projected growth in the U.S. third-party logistics and supply-chain software markets. Grand View Research forecasts the 3PL market will reach US$247.4 billion by 2030, while Mordor Intelligence expects the SCM software market to rise to US$9.9 billion by 2030.
Through the Integrator Program, providers can also access the FedEx Advanced Integrated Visibility webhook, which offers enhanced shipment visibility and tracking to help businesses act on real-time insights.
