INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA–Becknell Industrial has completed the purchase of a 149,760 square-foot distribution facility located in the Carillon Business Park in Forest Park, Ohio.
Constructed in 2004 and located on 15.3 acres, the DC features a secured truck court with 22 truck docks, one drive-in door and 15 trailer parking spaces. In addition, the property’s modern features include ESFR fire protection, tilt-up construction, 24′ clear height, 52′ x 60′ column spacing and air conditioning throughout the entire facility.
Located in northern submarket of greater Cincinnati, the facility is located one mile from Interstate 275 and has convenient access to Interstate 70, the major Midwest route from Michigan to Florida.
The building is fully leased to National Bedding Company, a subsidiary of Serta Simmons — a provider of mattresses — who has the option to expand the facility by 38,500 square feet.
“Becknell is excited to add such a good credit tenant like Serta to our portfolio,” said Pete Anderson, Becknell’s Executive Vice President Investments. “In addition, we were pleased with the opportunity to expand our footprint in the strong Cincinnati industrial market.”
