Halifax International Airport Authority‘s (HIAA) president and CEO, Joyce Carter, has been honoured by the Women’s Executive Network (WXN) as a 2023 Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100 Award winner in the Canada’s Most Powerful CEOs category. This prestigious recognition celebrates exceptional women in Canada who drive significant change within their organizations and communities.

Logistec Stevedoring

Logistec Stevedoring Inc. has won the 2023 Environment Award at the International Heavy Lift Awards Ceremony in London, England. This award recognizes Logistec’s environmental performance at 60 ports and 90 terminals across North America. The Heavy Lift Awards celebrate the achievements of the project cargo supply chain.

Tecsys

Tecsys Inc. announced the winners of its 2023 Supply Chain Excellence Awards at the recent 2023 Tecsys User Conference, celebrating the  achievements of supply chain professionals who have made significant contributions to their organizations. The winners were selected from nominations by industry peers. Anwar Williams from McLeod Health was celebrated with the Operational Excellence Award for his efforts in integrating Tecsys and the health organization’s Epic EMR system to create a seamless, clinically integrated workflow. Mike Brown, vice-president, supply chain and environmental services at Texas Children’s Hospital, was recognized for his visionary leadership with the Strategic Leadership Award. He has been instrumental in transitioning his organization from a siloed supply chain practice to a modern hub-and-spoke consolidated service centre. Werner Electric received the Innovation Award for their pioneering approach to supply chain management. Their initiatives, from augmented cluster building to a focus on sustainability, exemplify the spirit of innovation.

Combilift

Combilift has won the Italian Terminal and Logistics Award (ITALA) for the new Combi-CB15-5E. This accolade recognizes innovation in the operational field, and the commitment to operator training and safety. The Italian Terminal and Logistics Award is a significant industry recognition, presented annually to highlight the skills of operators in port, intermodal, and logistics terminals both in Italy and abroad.
