Appointments, promotion, moves and changes in the supply chain sector

Scott Wheeler

Scott Wheeler is the new president of Daseke Inc, a consolidator and flatbed and specialized transportation company. Wheeler, who was CFO, assumes the role of president from company founder Don Daseke, who will continue to serve as Daseke’s CEO and chairman. Wheeler will remain as CFO. Before joining Daseke, Wheeler served as CFO for two companies and was a managing director at a CFO consulting firm for high-growth companies. Wheeler sits on the advisory board of the College of Business – Texas A&M University-Commerce, where he earned his undergraduate degree and now serves as an adjunct professor of finance. In 2014, the Commerce, Finance and Economics Department at Texas A&M College of Business bestowed upon him the Alumni Ambassador Award, the highest honour granted to an alumnus. Wheeler received his M.B.A. from Southern Methodist University in 1985.

Angelo Rosati and Doug Bachrach have joined DecisionPoint Systems‘s sales leadership team. They will serve as senior account executives. Both have deep experience, and strong track records of driving customer success and business growth in the retail market, including retail logistics supply chain. In addition, Danny Yapaola and Mike Heffernan have also joined DecisionPoint and will bring their 25+ years of technical expertise and project management support to Rosati, Bachrach and their East Coast customers. Rosati and Bachrach were most recently at another industry reseller, but before that, both leaders spent over a decade at DecisionPoint and are extremely familiar with the company, its product offerings and its customer base.

Angelica Mitranca

Twinlode Corporation has appointed Angelica Mitranca as director of engineering. With more than 20-years’ experience in engineering for the material handling industry, Mitranca has joined the team to direct all aspects of engineering activities and projects for Twinlode and its clients. She started in the material handling industry in 2001 where she worked as a senior design engineer at Kingway. From there, she became engineering manager at UNARCO Material Handling, Inc. for ten years where she worked on the manufacturing side of the rack industry. Mitranca holds a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Transylvania University of Brasov, Romania.
