Dean Bender

Hannibal Industries, Inc. promoted Dean Bender to general manager of Hannibal Industries’s Houston manufacturing facility, and the addition of Jesse Swanson as sales rep to its material handling products sales team. Bender is a Hannibal employee-owner who brings over 40-years of material handling industry experience, knowledge and professionalism to Hannibal and its customers. Swanson has worked on manufacturing and distribution side, material handling as well as on lift trucks and dynamic storage. He will be serving Hannibal’s distribution base in Northern California, Oregon and Washington while participating in select special assignments on a national level.

BSM Technologies Inc. has appointed Michael Morrissey as COO. Morrissey has a long history of leading both large and medium sized software delivery teams. Before joining BSM, he served as senior vice-president of research and development at Nuance Communications Inc., a multinational computer software technology company. Previously Morrissey was chief technology officer at PerspecSys Inc., vice-president, cloud and platform services at BlackBerry Ltd., and vice-president, program management at Descartes Systems Group. He replaces Douglas Swanson.

Don Colleran

Don Colleran has been appointed president and CEO of FedEx Express. Colleran has been with FedEx for almost 30 years. He began his FedEx career as an international sales manager in Philadelphia before moving to Asia Pacific to lead the region’s sales group. In 2000, Colleran was promoted to president of FedEx Express Canada before moving back to the U.S. in 2003 to serve as senior vice-president of international sales. In 2006, he was appointed executive vice-president of global sales. In 2017, Colleran was named executive vice-president and chief sales officer of FedEx Corp. He serves on the University of Tennessee Health Science Center Advisory Board, the US-ASEAN Business Council, and as a director of ABM Industries and EastGroup Properties. Jill Brannon, a more than 30-year FedEx veteran, will succeed Colleran as executive vice-president, chief sales officer of FedEx Corp.
