UniCarriers Americas Corporation (UCA) expands its national accounts team by hiring Tim Karnitz as senior manager of national accounts, David Brady as national accounts manager and Sean Beaulieu as national accounts technical specialist. Karnitz has more than 25 years of national account experience in the capital equipment industry. Before joining UCA, Karnitz worked on national account teams for the Tennant Company and Nilfisk Advance, Inc., where he served the industrial equipment markets. Karnitz earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing and sales from Ferris State University in Big Rapids, Mich. Brady has more than 25 years of experience in the material handling industry, including 11 years as a national accounts manager for Hyster/Yale. Brady earned a bachelor’s degree in finance from Western Michigan University.

Beaulieu is responsible for working with national account managers in resolving technical issues in the field, managing the implementation of solutions and confirming that solutions corrected the issue. With more than 10 years of experience in the material handling industry, he has worked as a service manager and a used equipment manager for a UniCarriers dealer.

American Trucking Associations has hired Mike Joyce as the federation’s senior vice president of legislative affairs. Joyce most recently worked as Director of Government Relations for ATA allied member PACCAR Inc. Previously Joyce worked for the Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association, Congressmen Bud Shuster (R-Pa.), former Chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, Congressman Bill Shuster (R-Pa.), current Chairman of the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, and Mac Collins (R-Ga.), former Member of the Ways and Means, Select Intelligence and Budget Committees. Joyce holds a Bachelor of Arts in business management with a political science minor from Gettysburg College, and lives in Washington.
