Who’s on the move: May 9, 2016

Dicom Transportation Group has added Andrew Grant as CFO, and Joseph Jaska as vice-president of operations. Grant will lead the financial, risk management and administrative operations across North America for Dicom. He joins the company with more than 20 years of management experience having served as CFO of OHL International, a division of Ozburn-Hessey Logistics (OHL), vice-president of finance at HD Supply, as well as vice-president of operations for Ryder System. Jaska has more than 27 years of operations management experience, most recently serving as vice-president of operations for FFE Transportation Services. Jaska also spent 13 years in the LTL industry with Con-way Freight and Central Freight Lines. He will be responsible for the operational components of acquisition integration, expansion of cross-border operations, and process planning and development.

Trimac Transportation Ltd‘s shareholders elected the following as directors at the company’s annual meeting: Jeffrey J. McCaig; Maurice W. McCaig, Thomas G. Connard, Stephen W.C. Mulherin, M. Jerry Patava; Gerald A. Romanzin.

International logistics provider and largest privately held US Customs broker, A.N. Deringer, Inc., welcomes Shawn McManigal as director of distribution. In this role, he will have direct oversight of the company’s Los Angeles, CA, and Blaine, WA, distribution centres as well as responsibility for Deringer’s other US warehouses and distribution centres. McManigal will be based out of Deringer’s Los Angeles facility. Previously, he worked for two third party logistics providers. Serving in various roles in distribution, logistics, and operations, McManigal also worked for several large-scale retailers and consumer packaged goods companies. He is an active member of the International Warehouse Logistics Association.
