Who’s on the move: September 12, 2016

Jeff Provow has joined RoadOne IntermodaLogistics as VP and General Manager of US IntermodaLogistics and American IntermodaLogistics, RoadOne’s North American agent drayage and brokerage affiliates. He will support the expansion of US and American IntermodaLogistics’ national footprint and support the development of regional agent-drayage businesses. Before joining RoadOne, Provow was president and managing partner of JSP Logistics Inc. a terminal operator under the ARL network of agents. At CSX Intermodal, Jeff led sales and pricing teams, as well as customer service and terminal operations in the Southern and Western US regions.

Claudio Onofrio has been appointed vice-president of global business development for Mallory Alexander International Logistics. Based in Dallas, Texas, Onofrio will oversee business development opportunities across the globe, with an initial focus on the southern US states and Texas in particular, as well as markets in southern Europe, including Italy. Onofrio has almost 30 years’ experience in the logistics industry, including senior sales and marketing roles at previous employers.
Leo Somerville, former president of Renishaw, Inc, has been promoted to oversee Renishaw North America in a newly created position to advance all aspects of Renishaw’s healthcare business. Replacing Somerville as president of Renishaw, Inc is Howard Salt, former business manager of encoder products. Somerville will continue to assist the board in developing technical and commercial strategies in his new research and development role. A new senior management team has been created to support Salt in his new role as president. David Bozich, former MT/Scanning business manager, was appointed vice-president operations, with responsibilities including human resources, IT, quality, service center, warehouse, shipping and receiving, facilities, and compliance. Denis Zayia, former national sales and marketing manager was appointed vice-president sales and marketing, and responsibilities include his existing product lines and services, as well as setting up regional technical and sales offices throughout the United States.
