Appointments, promotions, moves and changes in the supply chain sector this week

HNA Group and Eric Born have agreed to extend Eric Born’s contract as president and CEO of Swissport International AG to December 31, 2019. Born has been serving as president and CEO of the ground handling and air cargo services supplier since August 2015. He has a strong track record and vast experience in creating value in private equity owned and publicly listed organizations across retail, logistics and aviation services.

Peak-Ryzex, Inc., a provider of end-to-end, technology-enabled solutions has made a series of leadership changes and created several new top-level appointments. These developments were announced by Juliann Larimer, who was named president and CEO of Peak-Ryzex in April. Michele Adams is the new Global CFO. She joined Peak Technologies in June 2003. Laura Kaspar has been recently hired and appointed to the position of global vice-president, human resources. Kasper joined Peak-Ryzex in August 2018 and previously was vice-president of human resources and risk management at Acton Mobile. Tim Wills has been appointed to the newly created position of chief marketing officer. Wills joined PEAK Technologies in 1999, and was most recently general manager, North America, and senior vice-president. John Gale has been named CIO. Gale joined Peak Technologies in September 2007 and most recently held the position of CIO and SVP, operations. Dave McMinn has been named senior vice-president for North American operations. He joined Manage Mobility as vice-president of operations in June 2006 and was promoted to vice-president of Manage Mobility in 2017. Jeff Walters has been appointed vice-president of North America sales. He joined Ryzex as regional vice-president of western sales in 2008 and was most recently vice president of field sales for the company’s enterprise sales team.

Dale Ohlrich

Elkhart Plastics Inc. (EPI) has hired Dale Ohlrich as Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) sales manager. Ohlrich brings more than 20 years of manufacturing and business development experience to the position. Previously, he served as director of business development at Packers Sanitation Services, Inc. Additionally, he served as specialty products manager of the IBC and dry handling divisions at Snyder Industries, Inc. for 12 years. Prior to that he was the regional sales manager for Custom Metalcraft Inc. Ohlrich earned a Bachelors in Business Administration and an Associates Degree in Manufacturing Engineering.
