Swissport has appointed Thierry Miremont as CEO of Swissport Belgium. In this role he leads Swissport’s Ground Services and Cargo Handling activities at the airports of Brussels and Liège. He reports to Luzius Wirth, executive vice-president EMEA of Swissport International AG. Miremont was a partner at McKinsey & Company, where he was the global co-head for the airline industry business. He was also chairman of the executive board at French tour operator FRAM, president of TNT Express in France and, more recently, served as CEO of Euromaster Group.
Resilinc has appointed former Flex supply chain executive Tom Linton to lead its executive advisory board. Linton brings more than 30 years of international industrial experience in procurement and supply chain management, and he recently co-authored with Resilinc CEO and founder Bindiya Vakil two articles for Harvard Business Review. Linton previously served as chief supply chain officer at Flex and has led procurement at LG Electronics, IBM, and Agere Systems.
Denny McKnight is the new CEO of Tompkins International. After 45 years of holding the position, former CEO and founder Jim Tompkins has decided to shift his focus and remains in the role of chairman of Tompkins International. Tompkins will continue to share thought leadership, support business development and serve as the company’s brand ambassador. Through Tompkins’ 45 years as CEO, he has been able to grow the Tompkins brand from a small consulting firm with a couple of industrial engineers to a multi-million dollar firm offering best-in-class solutions in supply chain, material handling integration implementation, fulfillment services, digital technology and robotic systems. McKnight has served as president of Tompkins International since 2013 and CEO of Tompkins Robotics, a business unit of Tompkins International, since 2018. Previously, he was one of the first partners of the supply chain consulting practice for Tompkins International.
