Who’s on the move: August 10, 2015

Pival International welcomes the following two members to the team: Tina Sassi as business development representative in Quebec and Kevin Duggan, DC manager in Mississauga, Ontario. Sassi will be working alongside president, Mario La Barbera. She has many years of experience in business development & logistics. She has recently joined Pival’s marketing committee. Duggan started July 27 and reports directly to the VP of operations. Duggan has more than 20 years of DC Management expertise while working for companies such as CCT Logistics, CIBA, and most recently Manitoulin Warehousing & Distribution.

Celadon Group, Inc announced promotions for two members of its senior management team. Bobby Peavler has been appointed executive vice-president, CFO, and treasurer of Celadon Group, Inc. Peavler previously served as vice-president and principal accounting officer of Celadon Group, Inc. Leslie Tarble has been appointed executive vice-president, CCFO, and treasurer of Celadon’s rapidly growing Quality Companies, LLC division. Tarble previously served as vice-president, treasurer and principal financial officer of Celadon Group, Inc.

Joel Clum has joined Worldwide Express as senior vice-president of franchise operations. Clum comes from the leading transport and logistics consultancy, CarrierDirect, where he supported the firm’s establishment as one of the most highly regarded management advisory companies in the freight industry. Before CarrierDirect, Clum worked with Accenture Strategy in the US, China and Europe.

Inmar has named Curtis Greve vice-president, remarketing and transportation. In this role, he provides strategic direction and operational leadership for Inmar’s Remarketing services, working with retailers to develop and execute strategies for liquidation and secondary-market value retention for returned consumer goods. Greve joined Inmar in late 2014, bringing more than 30 years’ experience in supply chain, liquidation and major retail administration. Before joining Inmar, Curtis held executive and management positions at Genco, the Reverse Logistics and Sustainability Council (RLSC), Walmart and Greve-Davis. In addition to deep experience in supply chain and liquidation, Greve holds a BS in Accounting and is a Certified Public Accountant.
